Caleta de Vélez is a small resort in the southern part of Andalucía, in a convenient position, 45 km east of Málaga, 40 km west of Almuñécar. Local supermarket, shops, bar.
Caleta de Velez is both the local fishing port for Velez Malaga and a pleasure marina for motor cruisers and sailboats. The marina is situated 2 kms East of Torre del Mar - a 20 minutes walk along the seafront promenade. Nearby are several small bar/restaurants serving a good selection of local dishes, especially local fish & seafood. Local shops, including a newsagent, grocers and a bank are in a short walk.
Local Lifestyle: Caleta De Velez is a versatile holiday location on the beach with the Baviera 18 hole golf course only 5 minutes drive away. Enjoy lunch at the marina with the yachts and cruisers bobbing in the sunlight...life here can be simple and relaxing.
Torre Del Mar is a 15 minutes walk along the seafront with the wide sandy beach to your left. A wide range of restaurants, bars, nightspots and shops are all found here.

Baviera Golf is situated in the Axarquía approximately 2 km East of Torre del Mar, near Caleta de Vélez.
The golf course opened in 2001. Baviera Golf has been designed under the directions of José María Cañizares, and is a challenge for a all levels of play, from the beginner to the professional.
Baviera Golf will become a popular base to expore golf in the Granada, eastern Málaga and southern Almería region.
